EVIL – The Complete History 1994 –2003

The history has begun in December 1994 when both Warlord and B. Goat decided to start with another musical project. Warlord was playing bass in Dethroned Christ, but EVIL members were playing together since 1992 in old bands SATANIC RITES (1992) and BAEL (1993).
Note: Nothing has been officially released with S.R. nor BAEL.

The first rehearsals were between 20-25 of December 1994 and the first songs “Black Moon” and “The Black Arts of Goat” were created.
In January 1995, with line up: Warlord (guitar) and B. Goat (drums,vocals), was recorded the first official release “From The Black Horde Of Pure Evil” reh-tape. All intros were done in a ritual (something between Abruptum,but thousand times worst!) with members of EVIL and DETHRONED CHRIST.

After some difficulties with playing both drums and vocals, B.Goat decided to stop playing drums and E. Lord Diabollus (from D.CHRIST) has joined in drums.Personally, it has been the best time for the band.

In Southern Winter (May,1995) the first demo “All Evil” has been recorded and released by Warlord´s label PURE EVIL PRODS. Other songs from “All Evil” record-session (over 3-4 unreleased songs plus a few others) was released under title “Hate Spirit” via Combat Rex in 2001.

In the end of 1995, B.Goat left EVIL and usual Black Metal scene and started with NS ideas. B.Goat was the first person in this side to start with NSBM in an effective way.

After some months without rehearsals, Warlord invited F.Daemon (also from D.CHRIST) to join in guitar and, in Southern Winter (June 1996) the second demo “A Southern War From The Winter´s March” has been recorded.

After this recording, vocalist Fleuretty from DETHRONED CHRIST left the band to live for some years in Europe. A few months later, D.CHRIST meets its end.

In March 1997 with new line-up (Warlord:bass/vocals , E.L. Diabollus:Drums and F.Daemon:Guitar) they recorded two songs (“Blood and War” and “A Southern War From The Winter´s March”) and an unknown label named “m.a.i.m/z.o.g.” released these songs in split-demo with legendary R.A.C. band LOCOMOTIVA. Over 200 copies of “Blood and Honour” split were distributed.

A Greek label has offered a deal for split LP EVIL/MOONBLOOD and promo-tape “Evil Storming Onwards To The Battlefields” was recorded. In this promo was included all songs for this split. Godless Recs. has done another version for this promo a few months later.
After this recording both, F. Daemon and E. Lord Diabollus, left the band due their lack of interest in BM scene…Thus, this split LP never has been recorded nor released.

December 1997, Darkness Love (defunct label) has re-released demo “All Evil” with new layout and pro-tape plus one bonus song. ”Warlike Songs” was limited to 100 copies only.

With chaotic equipments, Warlord decided to continues with EVIL and after many rehearsals his debut solo album was recorded. ”Revenge of Iron and Thunder” was released in 1998 by Southern Productions. This is a reasonable album but some songs like “Battle-South-Pride” and new version for “From The Black Horde…” were killer although with different atmosphere from old recordings…
Some different versions for this album were released by Drakkar Prods (limited to 100 tapes,different cover), Godless Recs compilation CD-R and CD-R “Panzer War Marches” (lim. to 88 copies) released by French label Inspire Hate Rex.

In the end of 1998, Southern Prods re-released promo “Evil Storming…” in split-tape (limited to 150) with French band CELESTIA.

After getting some experience with playing instruments alone, Warlord started recording songs for split-tape with German MOONBLOOD. ”FUCK PEACE!We´re At War!” is considered cult by many. This split has been released (1000 copies) by Southern Prods which later became WOLF Distribution. Many labels were offering deals to re-press this split in CD/LP formats but Mirko (MOONBLOOD) says “Not” ´cause he didn´t liked of MOONBLOOD side… Anyway, this recording has been the last material recorded by Warlord.

In February 2000 ex EVIL member B.Goat was arrested to prison ´cause an homosexual murdered. He was sentenced to 20 years behind the bars.

One year later, police raids at Warlord´s house and confiscated his PC. They were investigating his activities with Southern Prods (they acused Warlord to spread violent propaganda through music).

In August 2001, Warlord returns writing music and two instrumental songs were recorded. Both songs are similar to old EVIL recordings from 1995 era. Mirko from MOONBLOOD is going to put vocals in this recording and a full album is planned for 2003…

….it sounds like the return of EVIL.

Right now, two compilation tapes (featuring all old recordings) are being prepared and pt 1 will be released by Stellar Winter Rex (Russia). The pt 2 is being negotiated with a Polish label… We´ll inform you about these re-releases furthermore…
